VALENTINE'S LUNCH AT CAFE GEORG

My officemates decided to celebrate Valentine's Day as a team and appointed me as in-charge for everything. I chose Cafe Georg because it's near our office and I love their desserts, pastas, fish, veggie salads and everything on the menu!

It was Valentines so what did you expect? Traffic!!! Grrr!!! We rode a cab and it took us so long to get there, the traffic in Banilad area was crazy as hell. secondly the restaurant was full good thing I made reservations beforehand. Third since the restaurant was full and manpower was limited, we heard other customers complained on how slow food was served, though our desserts were served very late and it took around 15 minutes to arrive on our table, we stayed calm and patient because we saw the faces of the waiters tensed jumping from one table to another. We even saw the owner helping out with on the counter. Can you imagine how busy that day was? It was really ridiculous!

I ordered fish fingers with veggie salad not because I'm on a diet but because my dress is fitting and no area for additional space for rice and I ordered carrot walnut cake for dessert. hehehe..

So after our lunch we hurriedly went back to the office and was shocked that still the traffic was everywhere. So we walked back to the office, after all we were very much ready for a walk to burn the carbs.

Thank you to my officemates who said yes on this invitation. We should dine more, eat more, laugh more and enjoy each other's company.

CARRIE FROM DOWN UNDER

Carrie is a cousin of a best friend of mine, We first met 5 years ago when we had dance rehearsals for my best friend's debut. She's a Filipina-Australian studying in Adelaide, Australia. She's here in Cebu for a vacation. We had this shoot in Citylights Garden Condominium. Thanks to Mely for offering the place and Desy for the clothes. I shoot together along with Kaye Patrick Pableo.

I am not a fan of editing too much, I just want to fix or enhance a photo but for the 2 photos below I wanted to achieve a sun kissed look so I put more yellow and red. Let me know if it looks good or not.

PHOTO JOURNEY FROM OCTOBER TO DECEMBER

It's been two months since my last post and that saddens me because it reflects that I'm a bad blogger. I left this page unattended and I didn't open this for 2 months now and saw on the page stats that for 2 months this reached 1,320 views and there's nothing to view. Sorry guys :(

Honestly I have a problem with the sizes of my photos and it can only be solved if I reinstall CS6 so I can easily change the size of the photos without distorting the quality of my photos but until now I don't have that installed in the computer, for the meantime I manually change the size of my photos through HTML and if I have 20 photos to resize I have to manually edit the 20 photos and that is so tiring and time consuming. 

This blog without photographs is nothing!!! 

So that's my assignment to have that software installed in the computer, hopefully before this year ends. 

I have to catch things up with my blog so again I have to apologize that I have to summarize all my photo journey for 2 months in 1 blog post.

Last October 5 2013, Scott Kelby, a famous photographer held his annual photo contest and this time it's a worldwide event and I joined that event together with my photographer friends and officemates Kpat and Lord. We went to CarCar City, Cebu and did street photography. That day was hot and very humid but that didn't stop us from walking the long streets of CarCar City. I live in Cebu but it was my first time to take photos of that area and that made me happy.

My officemate asked me if I can shoot with him for an engagement photo shoot and I said Yes. I was able to shoot 2 engagements in 1 month pheeeew!!!

October 31, 2013 - Accenture Trick or Treat Event 

I was one of the photographers that time and capturing photographs of my colleagues in their costumes was very memorable.

November 2 - We went to Jonah's house in the province. He lives somewhere far from the civilization and we experienced going back to basics. We also went to the Lady of the Rosary in Alcantara.

Yolanda Mission

We went to Northern Cebu and witnessed the after math of the super typhoon Yolanda. It was not a walk in the park mission we experienced a lot of hardship that day as volunteers but everything was worth it!

Seeing the smiles of the people living there breaks my heart for I always question God about my life's hardships but that time I was grateful for what God has given me.

It took me 5 hours to finish this post Wheeeew!!!

P.S. I didn't change the size of the photos so the quality of the image will stay the same, having no photoshop installed is really a dilemma right??
